CURRENT JOB OPENINGS

JUJU

TEAM LEADER

The team leader leads the team to a specific goal. They are responsible for assigning tasks, researching and developing new ideas for products, and improving clarity to maximize efficiency between workers which can be done by holding meetings and constantly communicating. The team leader is also responsible for making public appearances and stating the current progress of the game frequently to keep the community alive (e.g. posting devlogs).

FILLED

MUSICIAN

The musician is in charge of all auditory effects in the game. Of course, this includes composing music for different sections of the game. But the musician also has to generate sound effects for appropriate actions. Does a player jump? Make a sound effect. Does a player swing their sword? Make a sound effect. Is a red blob coming at you at 50,000 miles per hour to eat your heart and soul? Make a sound effect.

PROGRAMMER

The first job of the network programmer is to make the game function. From giving the player complex move sets to coding in background processes and systems, the programmer makes the game perform and operate in a clean and efficient way with minimal bugs. However, the network part comes in when online multiplayer experiences are needed. From making server to client-side movement operate to creating online leaderboards and a matchmaking system, the network programmer also takes care of multiplayer experiences across multiple computers.

FILLED

ARTIST

While the programmer makes the game function, the artist makes the game look stunning and appealing. While the programmer may focus on making the player move, the artist focuses on giving the player its art style. While the programmer makes the levels work, the artist makes them immersive and dazzling for anyone to see. These two go hand in hand, and you can't make an appealing, marketable game without the other.

NOT ACCEPTING

PLAYTESTER

Although playing games as a job sounds fun, the playtester does a lot more than just playing video games all day. Once our team has a build setup, the playtester will play that build and give constructive feedback on how we can improve the player experience. Constructive feedback can mean anything from a few minor bugs to a full rework of a mechanic, all to improve our game for our users.
